The Story

Mark Vassilevskiy is a 19-year-old from Kazakhstan who built Skale Solutions - one of the biggest design agencies in Silicon Valley - scaling to a team of 20 people and $80K/month revenue in just 10 months. His clients include major AI companies like Bolt, Lovable, Cursor, and he's partnered with Contra and W.

Mark started designing in Figma over 5 years ago, switching from frontend development. He worked with local clients in Kazakhstan, slowly gaining experience. In January 2024, he opened his X account and started posting consistently. After a few months of engagement, he had 5-6K followers.

The breakthrough came from a "free redesign" strategy. After getting rejected from every UX/UI job he applied for in summer 2024, Mark decided to do free redesigns for big brands and post them publicly. His first was for Atlassian - he redesigned their hero section and posted it. The post blew up to 110K views overnight. Even though Atlassian didn't notice him, he got 10-12 call bookings overnight and closed most of them.

He repeated this with Bolt (met the team in person, they became clients), and Acquisition.com (Alex Hormozi himself responded to the tweet). The Acquisition.com post was his highest-converting ever - 15-16 call bookings overnight.
